[HOW TO] Disable crash reports in Xubuntu 12.04
Sick and tired of those annoying crash report notifications? Please continue reading to find out how to disable them.
Disable
Open a terminal window and run:
sudo sed -i "s/enabled=1/enabled=0/g" '/etc/default/apport'

DeleteI love Xubuntu but I hate those crash reports. It makes my system look unstable even though I've never noticed anything crashing.
ReplyDeleteIt's like I said: it's way to sensitive. Even if you Ctrl+C some program it'll generate a crash report.

ReplyDeletenot sure if this is the wright place for this everytime i update xubuntu for some reason
it changes my keyboard layout although it still shows uk in layout i have to re-add it and delete the old one very annoying and unable to use password login!! any ideas thanks
