[NEWS] Thunar 1.5.1 adds tabs support
The new development release of Thunar, the Xubuntu's default file manger, adds support for tabs browsing.
Release notes for 1.5.1:
Interesting release for a lot of users since this releases introduces the much-requested tabs in Thunar. Furthermore the new side pane has some important bugs fixed, the tool bar had a cleanup and is much more compact now and there is a permanent delete option. There are also various speed optimizations in thumbnail/icon handling and a number of bugs fixed.

ReplyDeleteexcellent news! How do I remove the old thunar in the cleanest possible way? Otherwise I cannot install the following xfce-4.12 dev packages:
The following packages have been kept back:
exo-utils
libexo-1-0
libthunarx-2-0
thunar
thunar-data
xfce4-settings

DeleteExcellent news. I am waiting for this great tab feature for years. Now I can offer xfce to more new user. Thanks xfce team and thank you for this news. BTW, did you read this tips (http://www.webupd8.org/2012/11/how-to-set-up-compiz-in-xubuntu-1210-or.html) at webupd8 about compiz in xubuntu? Did you test it?
